The Continental Group announced the promotion of Danielle E. Cooney to vice president, Commercial Property Management Division. In her new role, Cooney will provide senior level support, direction and leadership to the company’s multi-family apartment communities, retail centers and office buildings throughout the state.

Also promoted was Gary Pyott to president of its Palm Beach Region. In this role, Pyott will oversee property management services for a wide array of residential developments, including condominium high-rises, single-family developments, multifamily rental conversions and hotel-condominiums.
An eight-year employee of Continental, Pyott began his career with the company as a community association manager in the high-rise client segment. He later advanced to district manager and most recently served as business unit leader, where he managed more than 164 properties.

The Continental Group also announced the promotion of Wendy Lang to vice president of finance. In this role, Lang will oversee the financial integration of subsidiary companies and will lead the implementation of the company’s financial software programs.
Lang previously served as chief financial officer for Prime Management Group, a Continental subsidiary, since 2002. Prior to that, she held the same position with USI Florida, a leading global distributor of electronic components, for nearly 20 years.
